Obituary For Barbara Arrington Russell Ezdebski

Barbara Arrington Russell Ezdebski, 78, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA. She was born January 31, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Russell.

She graduated from Chartiers Valley High School in Bridgeville PA in 1962 and from Grove City College, Grove City, PA, with a bachelor’s degree in 1966.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Paul Ezdebski whom she married September 16, 1967.

She was employed by Magee Carpet Company in Bloomsburg PA and American Selected Products in Montandon, PA, from where she retired.

Barbara was an active member of Pine Street Lutheran Church in Danville PA for over 46 years and a member of Tah Gah Jute DAR.

She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit and the love she had for her daughters and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by them all.

She is survived by two daughters: Pamela Spicer and her husband Daniel of York, PA and Kara Blasko and her husband Greg of Poland, Ohio. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Avery, Ellie, Van, and Alexa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Barbara’s Life to be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pine Street Lutheran Church 621 Pine Street Danville PA with the Reverend Trevor J. Hahn officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville PA.

The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
