Karen, I was shocked to hear the news. I am sure no words can express the pain you and your children must be going through. I don't have to tell you what a great person Brett was. Godly, steady, calm, disciplined, dependable, etc. etc. I pray you can get through these next days and weeks ahead knowing Brett is with his Savior. It won't be easy. And I pray for you Stamm children. That you will continue the legacy of your father. Loving God and loving people. Godspeed! Scott Torppey

Farewell to as schoolmate and Christian brother. Although we see each other infrequently, I was always glad to see him and he made me feel like he was happy to see me. Certainly Brett leaves a void on the lives of those who loved him. Perfected now and eternally secured, I look forward to a Sweet reunion in the presence the Lord. Prayers of comfort for the family and friends of this faithful servant.

I bumped into Brett outside the car parts store and he told me the trials of replacing the water pump ! He was so calm about the situation despite getting a defective part, spending 4 hours fixing it, then having to do it all over again. Not sure I would have been that calm, cool and collected! I will so miss chatting with him at church.

Many home school memories with our children. Also many hockey memories as our "boys" interacted regularly. Your calm dependable smile and caring attitude will be missed greatly. Your calm but determined demeanor will be missed when wrong things needed to be made right. Say hello to Charlie Kirk for us, as I KNOW you both are in a better place together. Thank you for making this world a better place by being in it and sharing Jesus to all you met. Mike Geiser
