Obituary For Brian Frederick Kirby
Brian Frederick Kirby, 58, of Milton, PA passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at Grandview Health Homes and Rehabilitation. He was born in Lewisburg, PA on January 17, 1968, the son of the late Almer Zephy and Helen Frey Kirby.
He graduated from Warrior Run High School in 1990. He earned his Associate Degree in Computer Science and then his Bachelor of Science Degree in Network Administration at Penn College of Technology.
Brian is survived by the love of his life for 24 years, a devoted wife and loving caregiver, Heather Marie Cook Kirby. They were married June 21, 2002.
He was employed as a network administrator at Northumberland County Computer Services. He was also employed as a Principal IT Specialist at Seda-Cog for several years until 2008. Very accomplished in his field, he was listed in the Who’s Who of Professionals.
Though faced with challenges from an early age, Brian's disability resulting from an accident at just eight years old never defined him; instead, it shaped him into a beacon of resilience and kindness. Having a most brilliant and inquisitive mind, he was infatuated with technology and computers throughout his life. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and his beloved Wolf Dog, Jack, both of whom he adored.
He will be remembered for his deep commitment to his wife and friends and his profession where his expertise, kind spirit, sense of humor and sweet smile made a lasting impact on those lucky enough to work alongside of him. He will be deeply missed by his friends and caregivers. Brian Frederick Kirby lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will be felt for generations.
