Carrie Lee Whitesell, 46, of Danville, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1978, in Montour County, PA, the daughter of Dennis Calvin Shultz of Danville, and the late Mary Catherine Haffy.

Carrie graduated from Middleburg High School.

She was a member of Danville God’s missionary Church.

Carrie enjoyed taking walks, crafts, babysitting, country music, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and loved watching dolphins at the beach.

She is survived by her devoted fiancé Gary Hartman of Danville; and daughters, Grace Hartman and Elizabeth Whitesell and her unborn granddaughter, ex-husband, James Whitesell, Sr. of Danville, as well as her stepchildren, James, Jr., Jared, and Joel Whitesell, Khloie, Silas, and their families. She is also survived by her sister, Melissa, stepmom, Diana, and her stepsisters. Carrie is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Carrie’s Life to be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11:00AM at Faith Chapel, 2553 Center Road, Danville, PA with the Pastor Nathan Yohe officiating. Friends will be received from 10:30am to 11am.

The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Visneski Funeral Home, Inc., 42 West Mahoning St., Danville, PA 17821 to help offset final expenses.
