Obituary For Cheryl A. Hackett

Cheryl A. Hackett, 52, of Danville, PA; passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 2, 1970, in San Fernando, Trinidad Tobago, the daughter of David Green and Earlyn McLeod.

She graduated from Erasmus High School in Brooklyn, New York and received an Associate's Degree from Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.

She was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Resources in the Office of Income and Maintenance in Danville, PA, and Danville State Hospital as a psychiatric aide.

Cheryl loved going to various beaches including Cancun and the Virgin Islands. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, making crafts, decorating and was a dessert chef.

She was a respectful, kind, and caring woman with a selfless heart. Cheryl was the rock of her family and was easy to talk to with her calm spirit. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by three beautiful daughters; Skylar N. Archer of Baltimore, MD; Caitlin P. Archer and Christina K. Archer; both of Danville, PA. Cheryl is also survived by three brothers; David McLeod, Glen Hackett, and Anthony McLeod; all of Trinidad and two sisters; Sharon G. McLeod and her husband Charles Erros of Long Island, NY and Debbie A. McLeod and her husband Brett Pennington of Binghamton, NY. Cheryl is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Cheryl’s Life on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 1:00PM at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, 120 East Market Street, Danville, PA 17821. Friends will be received from 12:00pm-12:45pm at the church.

    Condolences to the entire families may her soul RIP an may God give you'll strength I'm now finding out this it's really sad to know I'm a classmate from Marabella Junior Secondary school we attended in Trinidad so accept my sympathy again
