Colin B. Ashton, 67, of Danville, PA, a compassionate and selfless soul, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was born October 7, 1956, in Danville, PA; the son of the late Harold E., Sr. and Betty (Hill) Ashton.

Colin attended Danville Area schools.

He retired from Buckley’s Carpet as a Warehouse Manager.

Colin was a member of the Friendship Fire Company and Washington (Washies) Fire Company.

He enjoyed playing golf and especially spending time with his friends. Colin will forever be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering compassion, and sincere friendship.

He is survived by his cousin and faithful friend, Kevin Moodie, and fiancé Lisa Newman of Bloomsburg, as well as his best friend, Wendy Hollenbach of Danville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Colin to be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Washington (Washies) Fire Company, 532 Railroad Street, Danville, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to Washington (Washies) Fire Company.
