Dean L. Reedy, 66, of Riverside, PA and Southwest Ranches, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 10, 2026. He was born on October 4, 1960, in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of the late Charles Reedy and Gisela Harr Reedy of Riverside, PA.

Dean attended Danville Area Schools.

He was employed as a butcher at WA Rothermel Meats and Pennsdale. Dean was also a landscaper in Florida.

He was a former member of Southside Fire Department and Washington (Washies) Fire Department.

Dean lived life to the fullest, always seeking fun and new experiences. His approach to life encouraged those around him to embrace each day with joy and enthusiasm. His love of adventure inspired countless unforgettable moments and stories.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Courtney (Reedy) Keiser of Watsontown, PA; one son, Dean C. Reedy of Dania Beach, FL as well as five grandchildren, Alec Keiser, Haley Gantt, McKenna Hall, Parker Reedy, and Paityn Reedy and one great-grandson, Ryker Stanton. Dean is also survived by two sisters, Gisela Roth of Nescopeck, PA, and Patricia Einsig of New Columbia, PA as well as one brother, Charles Reedy of Fort Aberdeen, MD. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Deana Reedy.

At Dean’s request no services will be held.
