Dennis Eugene Yagle, “Butch”, 73, of Danville, PA; passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. He was born on February 18, 1953, in Bloomsburg, PA, the son of the late George Leroy and Lois May (Burkland) Yagle.

Dennis graduated from Columbia Montour Vo-Tech in 1972 and went on to receive his Pennsylvania certification in welding.

He served his country with honor in the United States Army National Guard.

He was married to his loving and devoted wife, Carol J. (Cochran) Yagle for 40 years. They were married on November 1, 1986.

Dennis was employed by ACF in Milton and Dorsey in Washingtonville.

He was a member of the Danville Moose Lodge 1133, Continental Fire Company and the American Legion Post 40 of Danville. Dennis was also a member of the Port Matilda Sportsmen’s Association and North Montour Sportsmen’s Association.

Dennis had a profound appreciation for the outdoors, often found hunting and fishing in nature that he cherished. His enthusiasm for the outdoors extended to his love for animals. He was also an avid gun enthusiast, always eager to share his knowledge and passion with others.

In addition to his outdoor pursuits, Dennis was a true fan of humor, particularly the timeless antics of The Three Stooges, whose classic escapades never failed to bring a smile to his face. However, what gave Dennis the most joy was the time he spent with his family. His greatest treasure was the moments shared, the stories told, and the bonds strengthened amid laughter and love. Dennis leaves behind a legacy of memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived five loving children, Adam Yagle (Quiana) of Perris, CA, Jonathan Yagle (Meisha) of Shoreline, WA, Jeremy Yagle (Samantha Mullennix) of Lake Elsinore, CA, Michele Davis (Michael) of Millerton, PA, and Angela Bearor (Andrew) of Amherst, NH as well as nine grandchildren; Marley, Aujolie, Gabriel, Tanner, Odin, Rune, Leif, Aidan, and Maran.
