Diane Ellen (Brandon) Prichard, 80, of Coal Township PA., formerly of Danville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

She was born November 5, 1945, in Danville, the daughter of Cletus Sr. and Elsie Brandon.

Diane’s final days were spent surrounded by family and love—just as she wished. Known for her spunk, sass, and wit, Diane was also a fighter. She faced her battle with cancer with remarkable strength, bravery, and dignity until the very end, leaving her family in awe of her courage.

Diane attended Danville Area Schools. In her early years, she worked at the Silk Mill in Danville, PA. Later, she served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Grandview Nursing Home, Holy Family Convent, and other local facilities. She also provided personal care for the late (Mrs. Miller), a woman living with MS. Among her many roles, her favorite was being a nanny and housekeeper for the Currid family in Riverside, PA—a position she cherished deeply, caring for those children as if they were her own.

Diane enjoyed attending classic car shows with her beloved husband, Butch, and continued the tradition with friends and family after his passing. She was a proud member of the Dream Machines Car Club and loved showcasing her Dale Earnhardt edition Chevy Monte Carlo. Diane also found joy in dancing—especially to “We Are Family” with her daughters—and decorating her home for every holiday. She delighted in giving gifts and spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by four daughters: Ginger Henrie and husband Dustin of Millville; Beth Cutchall and husband Victor “Bucky” of Danville; Candy Fry of Danville; and Wana Whitesell Howell and husband Michael of Bloomsburg. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Kelly Craven of South Carolina; Nicholas Craven and wife Jenni of Danville; Danielle Cutchall Capparelli of Selinsgrove; Jason Fry and wife Cassie of Berwick; Megan Fry of Danville; Makenna Whitesell of North Carolina; and Madison Whitesell of Bloomsburg; four step-grandchildren, Dwight, Nathalie and Dylan Henrie and Chase Howell; and seven great-grandchildren, Bradlee, Grayson, Capri, Rowen, Chloe, Cora and Paisley. Additional survivors include her sister, Marie Carl and husband Lewis; niece Leslie Young and husband Kevin; nephew Lewis “Linc” Carl; and her brother, Cletus Brandon Jr. and wife Holly, along with niece Jillian Brandon and is also survived by all other living relatives.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her husband of 51 years, Clyde “Butch” Albert Prichard; her great-grandson, Carter John; and her beloved four-legged companion, Zoe.

A Celebration of Life for Diane Prichard will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the East End Fire Company, 954 Bloom Road, Danville PA. from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The family will provide flowers.
