Obituary For Diann S. Jordan

Diann S. Jordan, 79, of Riverside, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born on July 15, 1946, the daughter of the late Harold and Alice Diehl.

Diann graduated from Danville High School in 1964, shortly thereafter, she married Charles “Dan” Jordan on September 12, 1964, celebrating 50 years of marriage until his passing on March 5, 2015.

Diann worked at Geisinger Medical Center and following her employment there, she worked with her son at Jordan’s Plumbing and Heating.

She was a member of Danville Moose Lodge #1133, Southside Fire Company, American Legion Post #40, and Continental Fire Company.

Diann was a beacon of kindness and compassion, loved by all who had the privilege to know her. Her warmth and generosity of spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of family and friends.

Diann enjoyed life's simple pleasures, finding joy in trips to the casinos and savoring meals shared with loved ones. Her laughter and unwavering support brought comfort to those around her, and her presence will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her loving son, Robert D. Jordan and his fiancé Tracy of Danville, two granddaughters; Allison Dowdy and her husband Kyle of Philadelphia and Samantha Thomas and her husband Jeremy of Hughesville, as well as a great-grandson Loki. Diann is also survived by one brother, Joseph E. Diehl and Sharin of Danville, a brother in-law, Richard L. Jordan, Sr. of Danville and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Diann was preceded in death by two brother in-laws, John W. Jordan, Sr. and Samuel R. Jordan Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Diann’s Life to be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 12:00PM noon, at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc., 42 W. Mahoning Street, Danville, PA 17821 with Pastor Mike Spagnuolo officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until 11:45am. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Straub’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Danville.

The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville Moose Lodge #1133, 458 Mill Street, Danville, PA 17821 or Southside Fire Company, 270 Avenue D., Danville, PA 17821.
