Doris was my mother Gayle's cousin. The two were exceptionally close. Doris was there for my mother, through the birth of my brother, my mother's diagnosis and treatment for ovarian cancer at age 19, and she was there for me during the last 52 days of my mother's life. I fondly recall taking my mother many times to visit Aunt Doris. I loved hearing stories from their youth, about the adventures they had boating and vacationing together. I recall dinners with Doris and her siblings. She was a wonderful, compassionate and generous woman. She will be missed. Jackie Vought
