I met Evelyn first at Giant in the produce section. She was too short to reach the bananas she wanted. We talked and laughed. Then I realized we went to the same Parish. Oh how I loved greeting her there and seeing her at egg making. We enjoyed visiting her to sing Christmas carols and giving her rides home from church. She was such a lovely peraon and my husband and I are sure going to miss her. My life is better for having known her. Enjoy your heavenly home my sweet friend. Linda P

Aunt Evelyn always put a smile on my face and elevated my spirits. She always had a funny story or just made me laugh and I often retell some of those stories. She invited me to visit her in Florida in 1990 and I fell in love with her style of living enough that I moved here. I have always missed that time and will miss her more now. Bill Henderson

I have Several memories of my grandma, but the most meaningful ones to me are the times we would talk on the phone and talk in person about recipes. That's something we definitely had in common and shared a love for. I told her I would bring recipe books whenever Larry and I would travel because those were like novels to me. She said, when her and Grandpa traveled she did the SAME THING!! I just don't have enough words to explain what she meant to me. Sweetest, giving person I know. Brenda
