Obituary For Fredric F. Campbell

Fredric F. Campbell, 86, of Milton, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 26, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 18, 1937, in Danville PA, the son of the late Clement and Mona C. Baumgartner Campbell.

Fred graduated from Milton High School in 1955 and later from Bucknell University in 1959 with a bachelor’s in arts degree.

He served his country in the United States Army where he received the rank of 2nd Lt.

He was married for 64 years to the love of his life, Ginny Wilkins Campbell. They were married July 5, 1959.

Fred was employed as an Accounts Specialist at Shippers Car Line, Prismo Universal and Montgomery Mills, from where he retired.

He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Milton where he served as Treasurer for many years.

Fred enjoyed golfing and racquetball. He was an avid Penn State fan and Fox News fan.

One of his greatest passions was yardwork and he displayed a selfless heart that led him to always lend a hand to those in need. A man of few words but with a strong presence, he touched the lives of many with his quiet strength and unwavering support. Spending time with his family and making memories with them was his greatest treasure in life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Ann F. Forman of Watsontown PA and one grandson: John D. Forman of Watsontown PA as well as three great-grandchildren: McKenna, Aiden and Brantley Forman; all of whom he adored. He is also survived by several nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son: Fredric, Jr. in September of 1969 and one grandson, Jesse M. Forman. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Clement “Dick” Campbell and David Campbell and one brother James, in infancy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Fred’s Life to be held at a later date to be announced.
