Obituary For Jamie Franklin Schenck
Jamie Franklin Schenck, 51, of Danville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1975, in Muncy, PA, the son of the late Fred “Fritz” F. Schenck and Jane L. (McCracken) Shultz of Danville, PA.
His hands were as skilled with tools as they were gentle with those he loved. Jamie had a profound passion for cars, evidenced by his pride in his 1972 Chevy Nova and his father's cherished 1966 Mustang Convertible. He relished the family classics, including his Grammy's 1957 Chevy and his sister’s 1968 Chevy Camaro. These vehicles weren’t just cars to Jamie; they represented memories, adventure, and love shared with family.
Outside of work, Jamie could often be found tinkering with engines or lending a hand at Stine’s Farm. His love for tractor pulling showcased his competitive spirit and his desire to connect with others. A devoted furry friend, Chance, brought joy to Jamie's life, and the bond they shared was simply heartwarming.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Jody Schenck and her husband Tim Buckley: one aunt, Alice McCracken and one niece Skylar Schenck; and his stepfather, Stanley “Tony” Shultz, all of Danville as well as numerous cousins.
In addition to his father, Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Dorothy McCracken and his paternal grandmother, Anna Schenck.
As per Jamie’s wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville SPCA, 1467 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821 or online at TRIBUTE & MEMORIAL GIFTS | Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
