Jason David Summers, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center Danville, PA. He was born September 30, 1977, in Newark, New Jersey, the son of the late James Gary Summers and Mary Olinde Hayboer

Jason graduated from Mount Olive High School in New Jersey.

He was employed by Mount Olive Township as a foreman for over 20 years.

Jason loved landscaping, motorcycling, hunting and spending time with his family, all of whom he cherished.

He was a dedicated father to his children. Jason will be remembered as a respectable, determined, relentless, self-confident and selfless man who touched everyone around him. He was always putting other people’s needs before his own, which displayed unwavering kindness and will be remembered fondly by all who had the honor of being a part of his life.

He is survived by one daughter, Candace S. Summers of Stroudsburg, PA and three sons: Jason David Summers, Jr., Seth James Summers of Stroudsburg, PA and Jaime Evans Summers of Nanticoke, PA.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
