Obituary For Jeremiah Clayton Shepperson
Jeremiah Clayton Shepperson, 46, of Wrightsville, PA, and formerly of Danville, PA passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born May 11, 1977, in Stuttgart, Germany, the son of the late Clayton Shepperson and Marlene Buck Gunther of Danville, PA.
He graduated from Danville High School in 1995.
Jeremiah was a master electrician and President and owner of Shep’s Electric in Wrightsville, PA alongside of his son, Christian.
He was a coach who instilled values of teamwork and sportsmanship in the hearts of his children and many more. An avid outdoorsman, his favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, kayaking, and snowboarding. His love for adventure and thrill-seeking was evident in his passion for roller coasters, embodying a spirit that never ceased to embrace life's excitement.
Throughout his life, Jeremiah was known for his remarkable work ethic, his infectious laughter, and his genuine kindness. His generous heart and selfless nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jeremiah's sense of humor and playful spirit brought joy to those around him, making every moment in his presence a memorable one. As many who loved him would say, Jeremiah would either “fill your battery or drain it.”
Along with his mother, he is also survived by his stepfather, Donald T. Gunther of Danville, PA. Jeremiah's two sons: Christian J. Shepperson of Wrightsville, PA and Braedon N. Shepperson of Elizabethtown, PA and two daughters: Miah C. Shepperson of Bloomsburg, PA and Presley M. Shepperson of Ephrata, PA. Also surviving are three brothers; Shane A. Shepperson and his wife Kayla of Danville, PA; David T. Gunther and his wife Rose of Bloomsburg, PA and Daniel T. Gunther of Danville, PA, two sisters; Jenny M. Summers and her husband Todd of Mingoville, PA and Kimberly A. Baar and her husband Steven of Oakdale, Minnesota and one stepsister, Sarah J. Gunther of Columbus, Ohio. Jeremiah is also survived by his significant other, Megan Michelle Lehman and her two children, Maddox and Colton of Monkton, MD as well as a “boatload” of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Walkthrough to be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA with a service being held at 2:00 PM with Linda L. Wagner as celebrant.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide flowers. Because of the huge and memorable impact on Jeremiah’s life, memorial contributions may be made to Washies Playground 117 Foust Street Danville PA 17821.
