Obituaries

John Anthony Vezo of Riverside, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving behind many memories. He was born on September 6, 1953, in Shamokin, PA, the son of the late John Vezo and Shirley Mae Bryer (Lewis).

He is survived by his children Steven Vezo (Brittany), Bethany Erne (Christopher), and Son in Law Bryan Morey; Grandchildren: Emily Irvine (Tyler), Kaitlin Vezo, Michaela Padgett (Brandon), Marley Davis, Elizabeth Morey, Amanda Morey, Judson Davis and Adeline Cawthern, as well as Great Grandchildren; Riley Morey, Trey Padgett, and Baby Boy Irvine Due in February 2026. John is also survived by his siblings, Linda Zehner and Barbara Bird (Daniel).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Morey, one granddaughter Jackie Morey, and one sister Marlene Bryer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of John’s Life on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Danville Moose Lodge from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
