Judith Yohn Adams, 69, of Danville PA, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA.

She was born March 22, 1953, in Danville PA; the daughter of the late Frederick “Fritz” and Isabelle Piffer Yohn, Sr.

Judy graduated from Danville High School in 1971. She was also a graduate of Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dr. George Adams, Jr. They were married February 11, 1984.

Judy was self-employed at her shoppe, “Addie’s Heart”, in Danville, for over thirty years. Many people have appreciated and enjoyed her talent, especially designing her unique Father Santa’s for their homes and for gifts. Judy thoroughly enjoyed her role as a wife and mother for many years, which gave her much joy and fulfillment.

She was a member of Pine Street Lutheran Church, Danville, PA.

In addition to her crafting abilities, she also enjoyed gardening, bird watching and her many cats along with three golden retrievers whom she adored.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she will be remembered for her selfless personality, her creative soul, and her smile.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Amy Y. Adams and Robin Y. Adams and her husband, Zachary Moyer, all of Danville, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Frederick “Fritz” Yohn, II and his wife Christine and their children; Katherine “Kate” Yohn and Frederick “Fritz” Yohn, III, all of Wethersfield, Connecticut.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Danville PA.
