Obituary For Julia A. Warner
Julia A. Warner, 92, of Danville, Rush Township, PA, entered into the Lords hands on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville. She was born on January 19, 1931, in Danville, PA, a daughter of the late J. Henry and Marion S. (Krum) Warner.
Julia graduated from Danville Area High School in 1949.
Julia was employed by Geisinger Medical Center in the Admitting Office from where she retired after 40 years of dedicated service.
She was a faithful member of Mahoning Presbyterian Church, Danville where she served as an Elder, Church Treasurer, and Choir Member, as well as the Women’s Association Treasurer.
Julia enjoyed crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed being outdoors, working at maintaining the grounds on the family farm as well as watching for and seeing all sorts of wildlife. Julia loved all sorts of animals and birds. She enjoyed traveling and earlier in her life traveled to the west coast and to Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; Kathryn I. Warner and her brother, James F. Warner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Julia’s Life to be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 42 W. Mahoning St., Danville, PA 17821, with the Pastor Graham Rogers officiating. Friends will be received 9:00AM to 9:45AM. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville, PA.
The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Mahoning Presbyterian Church, 352 Ferry Street, Danville, PA 17821.
