June Carole Streck, 92, of Northumberland, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 22, 2026. She was born on June 14, 1934, in Lancaster, PA.

June spent most of her life in “Norry,” where she attended local schools and graduated as a proud “Pineknotter” in 1952. She was known for her quick wit and no-nonsense personality—qualities that endeared her to all who knew her. Among her many accomplishments, the one she held most dear was raising her family. She was affectionately known as “Sergeant Grandma,” a title that reflected both her strength and her deep love for those closest to her.

June enjoyed her years at The Pines in Northumberland, where she spent many hours working on puzzles, completing word searches, and reading—one of her greatest passions. She had a particular love for history and was always eager to learn and share her knowledge. She also enjoyed her daily walks through town and was well known in the community.

She is survived by her three daughters: Joelle Wydra and husband David; Rhonda Pritchard and husband Marvin; and Tracey Streck. June also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kristi McCormick and husband Jeffrey, Jessica Hruska and husband Joel, Andrew Hall and companion Jade Edinger, and Kyle Pritchard; and her beloved great-grandchildren: Briana Capolupo, Sydney McCormick, Justin McCormick, Aurora Hall, Daisy Bingaman, and Arlo Hall. She is further survived by her sisters, Betty Moore and Sharon Hummel of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, along with several nieces and nephews.
