Justus (Bud) H. Boettger, Jr. passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 90. He was a beloved friend and companion to Sally Atkins with whom he resided in Dushore, PA.

He was born on March 15, 1932, to Justus H. and Elizabeth (Finkbiner) Boettger and was raised in East Vincent Township, Chester County, PA. He graduated from Spring City High School in 1950. He worked 18 years at Firestone Tire Co. in Pottstown, PA and 11 years for Computer Peripherals in Audubon, PA. Bud retired at the age of 64 from S&W Race Cars in Spring City, PA, and enjoyed working part-time at the Village Flower Shop in Pughtown, PA, as a delivery person.

Bud was predeceased by his three brothers, Ronald, Edwin, and Douglas. He is survived by daughter, Diane Ganovsky (Daniel) of Pottstown, PA. He had 2 grandchildren, Dana (Jesse) Breeden and Chad (Kristen) Ganovsky and 4 great-grandchildren, Elly, Maxwell, Alex and Lauren.

He was a member of the Coventryville Trout Club.

Bud was a great fan of the Philadelphia Sport Teams – Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in local streams and the Pennsylvania mountains.

A private memorial will be held later at a favorite fishing spot along French Creek where he and his brothers spent many good times together.
