Lena M. Conrad, 89, of Montandon, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Danville. She was born on June 1, 1936, in Winfield, PA, the daughter of the late George and Mabel (Herb) Bowersox.

Lena was married to George O. Conrad who preceded her in death on May 12, 2020. They were married on December 25, 1952.

She was a member of Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, Milton, PA where she was a children’s Sunday school teacher for many years.

Lena was a devoted housewife whose passion for nurturing and caring extended beyond her home. She found immense joy in flower gardening and vegetable gardening, cultivating not only blooms and produce but also a sense of love and tranquility within her family and community. Known for her culinary talents, Lena delighted her loved ones with her delicious baked goods and homemade meals, especially during family reunions, fostering moments of togetherness that will be forever cherished.

She is survived by two sons: Wilbert “Jake” Conrad and his wife Sylvia of Montandon, PA and Ronald L. Conrad of Milton, PA; as well as five grandchildren, Jacob, Angela, Sam, Megan and Kayleen. Lena is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as one sister, Irene Thompson of Florida.

In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by four siblings; Cora Waltz, Carl Bowersox, Betty Chappell, and George Bowersox as well as one daughter in-law; Ramona “Chris” Conrad.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Lena’s Life to be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00AM at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, 71 Nazarene Lane, Milton, PA 17847, with Pastor Owen White officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 10:45AM. Burial will be private at Montandon Cemetery.
