Obituary For Marty L. Miller

Marty L. Miller, 65, of Danville, PA, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born August 26, 1958, in Bloomsburg, PA; the son of the late Donald Leroy and Helen Irene (Powell) Miller.

Marty graduated from Southern Columbia Area High School in 1977.

Marty was employed as a Bartender by the Danville Moose Lodge and as a Mechanic for their bowling alley. He was also a former bartender for Hanley’s Bar, Danville

He was a member of the Danville Moose, Friendship Fire Company, Washington Fire Company, Continental Fire Company and Goodwill Fire Company as well as the American Legion Post 40.

Marty lived life to the fullest. He loved dancing, sports, having drinks with friends, golfing, bike riding and the beach. He and his daughter enjoyed taking vacations to Frontier Town, Ocean City, Maryland. Marty was also an avid New York Jets fan.

Marty led a life filled with laughter and an unwavering dedication to helping others. He found great joy in connecting with people and making them laugh. He was the life of the party and lived on the dance floor.

He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter; Brittney Miller of Verona, NJ and one brother; Larry Miller of New Hampshire.

In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by one brother; Danny Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to a walk-through visitation on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc., 42 West Mahoning Street, Danville, PA 17821.
