I had the privilege of meeting and working with Rick over two years ago with the work he and the State of Pennsylvania O & G Bureau are doing with abandoned/orphaned wells. Rick was super detailed and passionate about his work. He had a wealth of experience and knowledge that he shared with me and others. Rick was kind, patient and a pure joy to work with. He challenged technology providers as he was always looking out for the interests of the State of PA, safety and efficiency in mitigation of abandoned/orphaned wells. I will miss his warm smile, personality and company. Rest in Peace, Rick. Milton Heath

I am so saddened to hear the news of Rick's passing. We spent some years together bringing our boys up through the ranks of cup scouts in the local Elysburg pack. Rick was a hard worker with a good heart, and we has loads of fun with the boys. My deepest sympathies to the family.
