Obituary For Robert George Eisenhauer, Jr.

Robert George Eisenhauer, Jr., 73, of Elysburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on September 26, 1951, in Shamokin, PA, the son of the late Robert G. Eisenhauer, Sr. and Della Eisenhauer (Mowery).

Robert graduated from Walnut High School in Walnut, California.

He was married to his loving wife of 53 years, Linda D. (Parrott) Eisenhauer. They were married on May 1, 1971, in El Monte, California.

Robert was employed by Milco Industries as a laborer for 45 years and was currently working at Lakeville Specialty Produce in Washingtonville, PA.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association

An avid hunter and fisherman, Robert found joy and solace in nature, often spending time in the great outdoors. His passion for woodworking also served as a significant part of his life, where he created beautiful pieces in his workshop, reflecting both his talent and creativity. Family vacations were a treasured time for Robert, as he delighted in creating lasting memories with his children and grandchildren, instilling in them a love for adventure and the importance of family bonds.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by two sons; Robert G. Eisenhauer, III and his wife Amanda and Donald L. Eisenhauer and his wife Heather as well as one daughter; Christine D. Dworchak and her husband Jeffrey, all of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two brothers, Gary D. Mowery and Maurice R. Eisenhauer as well as one sister, Diane Robinson, all of Pennsylvania. Robert is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one sister in-law, Rose Mowery.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville Fishing Derby, PO Box 297, Danville, PA 17821.

    My deepest sympathy on the passing of Robert. It was my pleasure getting to know Robert and hearing his stories as we worked together at Lakeville Specialty Produce. He was a delight to work with. My prayers to all his family during this difficult time.
