Obituaries

Ronald K. Garman, 85, of Danville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 4, 1940, in Reidsville, North Carolina. He was the son of Alton and Catherine Smith Garman.

Ron graduated from Selinsgrove High School where he served as President of his class.

Ron was well known in the area as the owner of several flea markets.

In his earlier years, he enjoyed drag racing. Ron was an avid Penn State Football fan and also loved restoring automobiles.

Ron’s presence will be greatly missed, not only by his family but by the many lives he touched throughout his journey.

He is survived by four sons: Todd J. Garman of York, PA; Chris E. Garman and his wife Kathy of Danville, PA; Gregg L. Garman of Montandon, PA and Tyler Garman of Danville, PA and one daughter, Ashlee Garman of Williamsport, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
