Obituaries

Scott Owen Chrysler, 57, Danville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday May 17, 2023, at home. He was born November 21, 1966, in Canandaigua NY, the son of the late Owen John and Donna Jean Eberhart Chrysler.

He attended Danville Area High School.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Susan Joanne VonBlohn Chrysler. They were married on August 18, 1992.

He was employed at CATV in Danville for approximately five years. He and his son then became owners of The Iron Vapor in Danville PA and most recently was employed as a telecommunications installer for DJN Servicing and Consulting in New York.

Scott will be remembered by those who knew him to be one of the most engaging sports fans around. He loved playing golf and was an avid Miami Dolphins and New York Yankees fan and locally, he loved following Bucknell sports. He was well known as a great man and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by his family, all of whom he adored.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Trevor Scott Kenneth Chrysler of Danville PA and one daughter, Courtney Rae Chrysler, also of Danville PA.

Also surviving is one sister, Stacie Appleman and her husband Rob of Danville PA. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Max and Dorothy VonBlohn of Danville PA and three brothers-in-law:

Gerry VonBlohn of Bear Gap PA and Jeff and his wife Julie and Tom VonBlohn and his wife Deb of Danville PA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
