William Henry Manning, 71, of Danville, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1953, in Hazleton, PA.

He graduated from Hazleton High School in 1971.

A proud veteran, William served his country with honor in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1973. Following his service with the result of being disabled, he pursued his passion for music, delighting audiences for over 50 years as a self-employed musician. His music brought joy to all who had the pleasure of listening to him perform.

He was extremely devoted to his wife of 47 years, Suzanne Carpenter Manning, who survives. They were married August 17, 1977.

He was a member of Danville American Legion Post 40 Danville PA.

In his younger years, he thoroughly enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed model cars. A dedicated family man, his greatest honor, pride and joy in his life was taking care of his three daughters; all of whom he adored.

He will be faithfully remembered for his love of music and his sense of humor which he instilled in all of his daughters, to aid them along the bumps in life.

He is survived by three daughters: Annemaria Clayberger and her husband Robert of Sunbury, PA, Valerie Manning and her husband Shawn of Cleburne, TX and Francesca De Rienzo and her husband Marino of Evans, GA. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Tabitha and Sebastian Clayberger, both of Sunbury, PA; Gwen and Logan Gilliland of Cleburne, TX and John and Charles De Rienzo of Evans, GA.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
